- A MYC FIRM FIXED PRICE CONTRACT; ONE YEAR BASIC 2 OPTION YEARS: FIRST ARTICLE TEST. NSN: 3040-01-366-5770 FW P/N: DAA3255A237-001 hereinafter referred to as CLIN 0001. Noun: Connecting Link THIS IS A RIGHTS GUARD AND EXPORT CONTROL ITEM. Engineering Data List available through representative at Tinker AFB once solicitation is posted. Applicable to: B-2A AIRCRAFT Destination: FB2039: CLIN 0001, two each (2): Delivery: 2 each; MAY 2009. The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 08 Aug 2008. The approximate response date of the solicitation will be 25 August 2008. The anticipated award date will be 30 Sep 2008. Written and electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. No telephone requests. Contractors must obtain a copy of the solicitation from the FedBiz Opps website. This office no longer mails solicitations. Note: While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation. NEW REQUIREMENT: Contractors must be registered in ORCA to be eligible for award. www.orca.bpn.gov and Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Note: Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
