Description
NSN: 3110-00-516-5479, CAM FOLLOWER, NEEDLE BEARING. Purchase Request Number IQC07191009021. Critical Application Item. Approved sources: Accurate Bushing Company (07484) P/N CR1-3/8-23; RBC Aircraft Products Inc (3NPS1) P/N CB17663; McGill Manufacturing Company Inc (92563) P/N CF720. Terms are FOB Destination, Inspection - Acceptance at Destination. Stocked item. QCC-FCA Delivery is 90 DARO. Award from this solicitation can only be made for a domestically manufactured (US or Canada) bearing and bearing components (i.e. bearing element, retainer, inner/outer race). This NSN is a critical application item and is not commercial. Solicited as Unrestricted on an Other Than Full and Open competitive basis. Solicitation will result in an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC). The contract will be effective for a one-year period with provisions included to extend the term of the contract up to four (4) one-year periods. The estimated annual quantity is 4,956 each per contract period. The contract will include a guaranteed minimum quantity of 1,239 each (base year only) and an annual maximum quantity of 9,912 each. The minimum delivery order quantity is 1,239 each and the maximum delivery order quantity is 4,956 each. Deliveries will be to DLA stock locations on the east and west coast. Surge requirements are applicable. Surge plan detailing how schedule and surge quantity requirements will be met must be submitted. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The solicitation issue date is anticipated to be August 15, 2008. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DIBBS Website https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ on the issue date cited in the RFP.
