Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a Request For Quote (RFQ) and the solicitation number is HC10268182A001. The 6th Contracting Squadron, MacDill AFB, Tampa, Florida, requires the following items: All communications installation work will be completed to ETL 02-12 and BICSI standards and also applicable fire and safety codes. Vendor will assume that building infrastructure (Cabinets, patch panels, wall jacks, grounds and AC power/UPS) will be installed and adhere to installation practices outlined on line 1 above. Design and install a complete turnkey telephone system for Building 805, to include: 1. System will be installed in 19" unclassified communications rack located in the communications room located in building 805. 2. System power requirements: 110V AC, and if possible, dual AC power supplies. 3. System will require capability of terminating two PRI's presented on 4 strands of single mode fiber from main telephone switch (MSL-100). 4. System must be able to provide the following services: non-VOIP, ISDN, POTS, and an audio teleconferencing capability and also have the capability to complete DSN, local base/off-base, and long distance calls. 5. Installed equipment must meet all Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) certifications as installed and must be on the JITC approved products list (APL). 6. Vendor must connect system to already installed dedicated Cat 6 patch panels via blue Cat 6 patch cords. Patch panels will be located in same communications rack as system. There are a total of 29 connections. (See attached drawings.) Vendor will provide blue category 6 patch cords between wall jack and phone instrument. (Patch cord must be long enough to ensure phone can be placed anywhere in the cubicle.) Vendor will provide 29 non-VOIP phones and three conference call phones (similar in form and function to POLYCOM Voice Station).Vendor will provide all applicable technical manuals and documentation required to operate system. This includes on-site training to both users and system administrators. Vendor must provide customer with a 12 month warranty on workmanship, parts, and installation. The following Air Force Federal Acquisition Regulation (AFFARS) clause applies: AFFARS 5352.201-9101 Ombudsman. The offeror shall provide its DUNS, or if applicable its DUNS + 4 number with its offer, which will be used by the Contracting Officer to verify that an offeror is registered in the CCR database. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. The date and time responses are due is 1 August 2008, 3:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time.
