- Questions and Answers: Receipt of Proposals: Proposals must be received VIA EMAIL to Sonja.johnson@dcma.mil and sue.gerardo@dcma.mil not later than 12:00 PM (noon) Eastern Standard Time, July 31, 2008. Proposals MUST be received by this cutoff date/time. Proposals received after this cutoff are considered untimely and will not be considered for award. No third party vendor allowed. SUBJECT: Questions and response for 2008 Fall Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) Commander's Conference for 27 - 31 October 2008 with attendees arriving as early as 26 October 2008 and departing as late as 1 November 2008. QUESTION# 1: Is there any other dates that can be considered for the above RFP? RESPONSE: No alternate dates. QUESTION# 2: Can you tell me if the dates are flexible and if the lodging can be in more than one hotel although the meetings will take place under one roof? RESPONSE: a. Dates are not flexible. b. Lodging - Using other hotels might be considered depending on proximity to conference site and transportation requirements to and from conference site. QUESTION# 3: In the above referenced RFP is the solicitation only open to hotels, or can another organization locate the venue and arrange for the meeting rooms and other space requirements as indicated in the statement of work (SOW)? RESPONSE: The acquisition strategy is to solicit hotels and conference centers for arranging conference support for the meeting rooms and other space requirements.
