- Description
- This proposed procurement is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOB), NAICS 561591, Size Standard $6.5 Million. This procurement is being advertised as a Request for Proposal (RFP) with a period of performance of a one (1) year base period and four (4) one year option periods. RFP requires separate technical and cost proposals to be evaluated based on Best Value for award of the services. Evaluation criteria will be provided in the solicitation package. Project Description: The contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision, and materials to provide daily visitor services at the Visitor Information Center. The contractor shall manage and operate the Information Booth and Information Office which provides guidance and assistance to Arlington National Cemetery visitors, either in person or by telephone; issue special passes and permits, schedule wreath laying ceremonies and maintain records of services. The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, on or about 15 August 2008, to all authenticated account holders of Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) System. All questions shall be submitted via email to christina.sale@usace.army.mil. Proposals can be submitted via mail ONLY to U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District, Contracting Division, 10 South Howard Street, Room 7000, Baltimore, MD 21201-1715. EVALUATION CRITERIA WILL BE PART OF THE SOLICITATION. Additional information is provided in accordance with the statement of work included in the RFP package. Offerors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration Database (CCR) to receive a government contract award. Offerors may register with the CCR at http://www.ccr.gov/.
