- This announcement is being prepared in accordance with FAR 5.203(b) for commercial items, for a solicitation and potential award following procedures found at FAR Part 12.203 and FAR13.5. The US Fish and Wildlife Service, Alaska Region, has a requirement for a 20 foot shallow draft river boat to be used for Law Enforcement patrols in Alaska. The minimum specifications for this requirement are as follows:-MW. 20' length-72" bottom-.125 gauge-26" sides-96" beam-1,700/1,800 lbs--Stainless impeller-Full Instrumentation-Bilge and blower-Dual welded walk through windshield-Front deck storage-Marine battery and box-Self draining system-Flush kit for engine-Interior and exterior paint-Pedestal seats-Single lever control box-Rear bench storage-Navigation lights-Inboard Jet-200HP Engine-2000# or Less Weight-Canvas Cover-Heater-Wipers Driver Side-Stomp Gate-Tandum Axle TrailerFOB: Fairbanks, AlaskaRequested: 2008 20 foot Sea-Ark Predator, or equivalent This requirement is a total small business set-aside under NAISC Classification Code: 441222 which has a business size standard of 500 employees.
