Description
SYNOPSIS DESCRIPTION: The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City, intends to issue a sole source award to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation 6900 Main Street, Stratford, CT. 06615-9129 for acquisition of the following parts: Molded Cable: Three each (3), P/N: 96550-01810-103 Mission cable Assembly: Four each (4), P/N: 96550-01811-103 Cable Assembly, Tow: One each (1), P/N: 96550-01812-103 Cable Assembly, AQS-20: Two each (2), P/N: 96550-01813-104Molded Cable Assembly: Six each (6, P/N: 96550-01825-101 Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation is the original designer and manufacturer of the Organic Airborne Mine Countermeasures Mission Cables to be used on the MH-60S helicopter, for the United States Navy. NAVAIR MH-60S Program Office, PMA-299, has contracted with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation to provide prototyped mission cables for Proof of Concept during Contractor Testing and Developmental Testing. There are no substitutes. The government does not know the specifications for these components; therefore we can not use any other manufactures cables. The material being procured in this request is 100% compatible with the existing mission cables used on the MH-60S helicopter; therefore it is in the best interest of the government to purchase equipment that will allow for re-use of the existing equipment. Delivery will be to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division, Panama City Division, FL. 32407-7001.
