- Bids are being solicited under solicitation number W91247-08-T-0080. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein. If your company can provide the product/services listed on the solicitation and comply with all of the solicitation instructions, please respond to this notice. GSA Schedule Bids Only: Sellers bidding on this opportunity MUST have the items requested on an existing GSA Schedule. The Schedule must either be in the Seller's name or the Seller must be able to document its ability to act as an agent of a partner's Schedule. Sellers may offer Open Market items only in accordance with the approved Terms and Conditions of their respective GSA Schedule AND upon approval from the soliciting Contracting Officer. Information regarding GSA Schedules can be found at www.GSA.gov. This requirement is unrestricted and only qualified sellers may submit bids. The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2008-08-11 14:00:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com. FOB Destination shall be FORT BRAGG, NC 28310 The USA ACA Ft. Bragg requires the following items, Brand Name or Equal, to the following: LI 001, 3 POD Areas - Fifteen (15) Workstations per POD Area with B/B/F pedestals, flipper door unit locking, task light per station, tackable acoustical 85" tall panels fabric covered with Blizzard Colored fabric. Pedestals freestanding, not attached for ease of movement. Pod is completely enclosed with a 36" door with ADA passage lock-set. All panels are powered with (2) duplex's each., 45, EA; LI 002, 3 POD Areas - Two (2) Director workstations per POD Area in the back of pod, with a 6 x 6 workstation with 36" door units with task lights on each. A side chair with arms, and 85" tall tackable acoustical panels surrounding the enclosed office space. All panels are powered with (4) duplex's in each office., 6, EA; LI 003, 3 POD Areas - Seventeen (17) per POD Area, fully adjustable ergonomic chairs with height/width/pivot arms, seat depth adjustment, full syncro tilt/knee tilt mechanism. Ebony fabric fully upholstered., 51, EA; LI 004, 3 POD Areas - One (1) per POD, 48" x 72" racetrack conference table to match the finishes on the systems furniture., 3, EA; LI 005, Installation- Furniture must be delivered, unpacked, fully installed, and fully cleaned., 1, EA; For this solicitation, USA ACA Ft. Bragg intends to conduct an online competitive reverse auction to be facilitated by the third-party reverse auction provider, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to conduct the reverse auction. A Seller may submit a series of pricing bids, which descend in price during the specified period of time for the aforementioned reverse auction. USA ACA Ft. Bragg is taking this action in an effort to improve both seller access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, completed, real-time bids. All responsible Sellers that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their bid using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com. There is no cost to register, review procurement data or make a bid on www.FedBid.com. Sellers that are not currently registered to use www.FedBid.com should proceed to www.FedBid.com to complete their free registration. All offers must be found technically capable to be considered for award. Award may be made to other than the low offer if the contractor can promise a faster delivery/completion and the price can be determined reasonable when compared to other offers received (price and delivery terms). Award will be based upon the best value to the Government in accordance with procedures in FAR 13.106-2(b). A Site visit has been arranged for this requirement. Offerors and quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. A site visit is scheduled for Thursday, August 7, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. local time.
