- Description
- The purpose of this amendment is 1) to notify potential quoters that the FBI can not utilize any type of wireless monitoring system; 2) answer any questions received in response to this combined synopsis/solicitation through 7/28/08. Q1: Do you have any kind of floor plan showing the approximate locations and types of equipment to be monitored? A1: No drawings are available at this time. Q2: Is there any need to monitor CO2, Humidity, O2, or outputs from the incubators? A2: No output monitoring at this time. Q3: Is there any need for monitoring LN2 at this time? A3: No LN2 at this time. Q4: Are the items to be monitored all on one floor and if so, what is the approximate square footage of the area to be monitored? A4: They are mostly on the 3rd floor but there is a freezer in the basement. The locations are subject to change. Q5: Are any of the freezers to be monitored have temperatures below -40C? A5: No equipment goes below -40. Q6: If a list of equipment locations or layout of the laboratory facilities is not possible, who do I contact to arrange a personal visit to survey your operation? A6: The FBI does not plan to have a site visit. Q7: Who do I contact to get a list of the locations of the equipment to be monitored and a layout of the laboratories at the FBI Laboratory in order to determine the best way to set up our system to deliver a consistent wireless signal from all sensors to be installed? A7: See answer to question 1.
