- Description
- This procurement is unrestricted. The procurement will be a combination firm fixed price/indefinite quantity type contract to provide all management, labor, material, equipment and supervision to perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and inspections on Condenser Water Cooling Systems and associated equipment in various buildings at The Navy Yard, S. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA. Services shall be provided on the following types of equipment: Centrifugal Pumps, Motors, Motor Starters and Controllers, Cooling tower; structures, components, and systems including fan, motor, gear reducer and basin heaters, Electric and pneumatic valve actuators and controls, Temperature, pressure, level and flow sensors and transmitters. Both scheduled and emergency services will be necessary. Specialized experience is required for services under this contract and examples of relevant past performance will be requested with the proposal. Examples of relevant past performance required include performance on (1) Industrial Grade Vertical Enclosed Lineshaft Turbine pumps rated up to 8350 GPM and Horizontal split case centrifugal pumps rated up to 2000 GPM. (2) CLA-Val back pressure regulating/altitude maintaining automatic control valves up to 14 inches in size and 48 X 48 sluice gates and (3) Maintenance, calibration and repair of pressure, temperature and level sensors and transmitters, including radar level gauges/transmitters and industrial grade process pressure transmitters associated with Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems. This procurement includes a base period of 12 months and 4 option years, which may be exercised by the Government in accordance with the schedule. The contemplated procurement will have a performance period of sixty (60) months. There will be a site visit. The site visit information will be available in SECTION H of the solicitation. The solicitation will only be available electronically. No hard copies will be issued. Notification of any changes to the solicitation will be made electronically.
