- An initial Deep Cleaning is requested for the CDC during the week of August 4-8. The cleaning should include the following: 1. Building-wide cleaning in all rooms to include: * Strip and wax all linoleum floors * Steam clean all carpets * Steam clean all area rugs * Wash all windows, inside and out * Wash all window screens * Clean all doors and doorknobs, interior and exterior * Clean all window blinds * Clean all ceiling vents and air ducts * Clean all ceiling light fixtures 2. Infant Room: * Please do all items in building-wide cleaning * In addition: Clean bathroom to include stripping & waxing floor, washing walls, cleaning toilet and sink, cleaning baseboards, edges and seams around fixtures 3. Toddler-One Room: * Please do all items in building-wide cleaning * In addition: Clean bathroom to include stripping & waxing floor, washing walls, ceiling, toilets, bathroom cubbies, baseboards, edges and seams around fixtures 4. Pre-Toddler Room: * Please do all items in building-wide cleaning 5. Toddler-Two Room: * Please do all items in building-wide cleaning * In addition: Clean bathroom to include stripping & waxing floor, washing walls, ceiling, toilets, bathroom cubbies, baseboards, edges and seams around fixtures 6. Preschool Room: * Please do all items in building-wide cleaning * In addition: Clean bathroom to include stripping & waxing floor, washing walls, ceiling, toilets, bathroom cubbies, baseboards, edges and seams around fixtures 7. Reception area and Hallways * Please do all items in building-wide cleaning * In addition: * Clean ledge around ceiling in reception area * Wash walls 8. Kitchen * Please do all items in building-wide cleaning * In addition: * Deep-clean and degrease oven and stove * Deep clean and degrease vent over stove * Deep-clean and degrease grill * Deep-clean behind grill * Deep-clean behind refrigerators * Wash all walls * Clean center aisle * Clean shelves and walls in closet 9. Janitor’s Closet * Deep-clean floor * Scrub and clean floor sink * Wash walls 10. Director’s Office * Please do all items in building-wide cleaning 11. Back Office * Please do all items in building-wide cleaning A regular, monthly deep-cleaning is requested for the CDC for all rooms to include the following: * Strip and wax all linoleum floors * Wash all windows, inside and out * Wash all window screens * Clean all doors and doorknobs, interior and exterior * Clean all window blinds * Clean all ceiling vents and air ducts * Clean all ceiling light fixtures * Clean all bathrooms to include stripping & waxing floor, washing walls, cleaning toilet and sink, cleaning baseboards, edges and seams around fixtures A quarterly deep-cleaning is requested to include, in addition to the above items: * Steam clean all carpets * Steam clean all area rugs * Clean all ceiling vents and air ducts * Clean all light fixtures * Clean ledge around ceiling in reception area * Wash walls in hallways and reception area * In kitchen: o Deep-clean and degrease oven and stove o Deep clean and degrease vent over stove o Deep-clean and degrease grill o Deep-clean behind grill o Deep-clean behind refrigerators * In janitor’s closet: o Janitor’s Closet o Deep-clean floor o Scrub and clean floor sink o Wash walls SCOPE OF WORK FOR DEEP CLEANING OF THE CHILD CARE DEVELOPMENT CENTER
