- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Privatized Corrections Contracting Office, Washington, D.C., is seeking quotes from sources having the ability to provide community-based outpatient substance abuse treatment services and mental health services within the Denver, Colorado area defined as follows: The contractor shall provide services no further than four blocks (in any direction) from where the federal offenders are housed. The location of the housing facility is 2765 South Federal Blvd., Denver, CO 80236. Performance periods under this contract will be for a one-year base period from Date of Award through twelve (12) months with four (4) possible one-year option periods. The quantities provided below are estimates of required services: Base Year: Estimated Number of Inmates: 36 Intake Assessment (one per inmate), Estimated 4 inmates = 4 total Individual Counseling Session (30minutes=1unit) 8 units/month for 6 months = 48 units x 36 inmates =1,728 total Group Counseling Session (30minutes=1unit) 12 units/month for 6 months = 72 units x 36 inmates =2,592 total total The services shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) Statement of Work dated May 2007. The request for quotation will be available on or after August 6, 2008 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities web site: http: //www.fedbizopps.gov. Instructions for downloading the RFQ are provided at this website; hard copies of the quotation will not be available from the Government. All future information about this acquisition, including quotation amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date for the RFQ is on or about August 20, 2008. The BOP anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price requirements contract. All responsible businesses may submit a quote which will be considered by this agency. Faith-Based and Community -Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
