- Notice of intent to award a sole source contract to Controlled Power, Inc 17909 Bothell Evrett 10, Bothell, WA 98012--6391. Controlled Power Inc. will supply an updated version of their proprietary software to Glacier Bay National Park & Preserve's remote generator monitoring station located in Bartlett Cove, Alaska. As an option item Controlled Power Inc. will supply an equipment list and estimate to supply and install this additional hardware for a future project to upgrade the generator hardware. Under authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii), the value of the contract is expected to be under $35,000. The National Park Service (NPS), Alaska Regional Office requires an update to their remote generating operating system located in Bartlett Cove, Alaska. This remote generating station powers remote outposts of Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve. These updates will allow the NPS maintenance team to run diagnostic checks and have real time equipment status available back at the main portion of the National Park without having to frequently travel. This Notice of Intent is not a request for Expressions of Interest (EOIs), proposals or quotations. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. No contract award will be made on the basis of EOIs, proposals or quotations received in response to this notice. This service will be procured under Firm Fixed Price in accordance with FAR 15 procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized under FAR 6.302-1.
