- The Federal Government is seeking to lease approximately 4,494 rentable square feet yielding a minimum of 3,908 ANSI/BOMA office area square feet of contiguous space in Rock Springs, WY for use by tenant for personnel, furnishings, and equipment. Offered space within existing buildings should be above ground level. Parking area must be fenced per security requirement and able to accommodate two 13-passenger vans and 6 other fleet vehicles. The 3,400 SF parking area must be paved and provide adequate illumination. Buildings must meet Federal Government standards for fire safety, be capable of being fully accessible to the physically challenged, and be located outside a 100-year floodplain. Building will be subject to any and all other building or construction rules, regulations, laws and/or ordinances on the local, county, state and federal levels as they may apply. The initial tenant will be the Immigration Customs Enforcement agency. Space offered must have potential for efficient layout and be ready for occupancy by early 2009. Submissions by other than the owner or manager of a property must be accompanied by a letter from the owner granting permission to make general offering of the space. Lease term is ten (10 years, five (5) years firm. Space must be located within the city limits of Rock Springs, WY. Only properties that are contained within these boundaries or which front directly on them and meet or are capable of meeting the above criteria will be considered for this procurement. A written statement of interest should be submitted by August 8, 2008. Expressions of interest should include building name and/or site address, 1/8 inch scale drawing of space offered or proposed site plan, rentable square feet, and contact information for owner or authorized agent.
