- This is a Sources Sought for Maintenance and Repair of Bollard and Gate Vehicle/Personnel Access Control Systems for Grand Forks AFB, North Dakota. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to determine the companies that exist to fill this requirement. Request non-personal services to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform scheduled preventative maintenance and unscheduled maintenance on the below items. a. Two (2) pair of B&B ARMR Model B-30 Hydraulic High Security Bollard System, with four hydraulic power units, including control and logic modules, control and logic modules, control stations, traffic loops, traffic signals, electronic relays, electrical power equipment, options and all associated accessories. b. Five (5) AAR Model CG12 chain-link cantilever gates, DOS K12 crash rating, each with a Viking Access System Q4 operator, associated heater, loop heater, loop detector, photo eye and traffic light (Red/Amber) and keypad card reader. It is estimated that these gates will become part of this contract on 19 Jan 09. c. Two (2) double full height, galvanized, turnstile personnel gates and mechanical locking system with keypad card reader. Any resultant contract will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561621, with a Small Business Size Standard of $11.5 million. Qualified companies should submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than close of business (4:30 PM CST) on 4 Aug 2008. Oral communications ARE NOT acceptable in response to this notice. Sources shall include in their information, a detailed capabilities statement stating their experience within the past three years of same or similar work described in this notice, a point of contact with phone and e-mail information, business status, business size based under NAICS 561621, and a positive statement of interest to submit a proposal. In order to receive an award from any resultant solicitation, should one be issued, the successful offeror must be Central Contractor Registered (CCR). The CCR website is: http://www.ccr.gov/. The successful offeror must also have an active Online Representation and Certification Application (ORCA). The ORCA website is: http://orca.bpn.gov/. Submission of any information in response to this sources sought notice is completely voluntary, and shall not constitute a fee to the Government.
