Description

Amendment 0002 This amendment is to extend the offeror's response due date to August 11, 2008 and to attach the responses to questions from potential bidders. Amendment - 0002 Attachment Q - What was the frequency in the past for window cleaning? A - Twice a year Q - What is the expected frequency for window cleaning now? A - Twice a year Q - Who performed window cleaning services in the past? A - Delta Building Services Inc. Q - Who performed pest control in the past? A - Delta Building Services Inc. Q - Who performed trash containers and waste removal in the past? A - The contractor is responsible for waste removal costs and the U. S Courts provide the desk trash receptacles. Q. Who is the incumbent and what was the monthly cost during the last year? A - Delta Building Services Inc. $64,479.10 Q. is the new contract essentially the same in terms of requirements, or have the requirements changed in any significant manner? A - There have been several requirements that have changed within the scope of the contract. Q. Can you provide a list of PM services, tests, inspections whose frequency occurs at an interval greater than a year and when the services were last performed, e.g., switchgear maintenance? A – Based off of manufacturers recommendations, O & M manuals, and the GSA PM Guidelines. Q. For the PM services, tests, inspections identified in answer to question 8, will this contract require them to be performed at the next interval due date, or will they be required to be performed in the initial base year, despite when they were last performed A - In the next interval due date Q Is the cleaning performed during the day or evening? A - Day time Q - Number of jail cells on premises? A - Refer to Building Inventory ***************************************************************************************************** Amendment 0001 This amendment is to: Replace this section from page 233: 4. Pre-Proposal Conference Questions regarding this RFP will be addressed at a pre-proposal conference July 22, 2008 at 10:00 am local time, at the Byron Rogers Federal Building, 1961 Stout Street, Room 160, where questions will be answered relative to this RFP. All prospective offerors are urged to attend this conference. In order to make the conference as productive as possible, offerors are requested to submit in advance any questions they may have in writing to Mire Medina-Whittenburg at mire.whittenburg@gsa.gov. The submission of written questions will not preclude anyone from posing questions during the pre-proposal conference.1. The Contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, materials, equipment and supplies, and shall be responsible for the efficient, economical, and satisfactory operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems located within the Alfred A. Arraj U.S. Courthouse, Denver, Colorado 2. The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, materials, equipment and supplies for custodial services within the Alfred A. Arraj Courthouse, Denver, Colorado. A site visit is scheduled for Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. The meeting location will be at the Byron Rogers Federal Building 1961 Stout, Room 160. The point of contact for this site visit will be Tracy Maes, Contracting Officer and Lionel Montoya, Assistant Building Manager.
