Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate and award ECP-254R1 Mission Display Processor (MDP) Retrofit Kits as a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement, N00019-05-G-0026 to McDonnell Douglas Corporation (MDC), a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company on a sole source basis. MDC is the designer, developer, and sole source integrator of the T45TS, and is the only known source with the experience and technical data necessary for the performance of this effort. This effort will consist of twelve (12) aircraft retrofit kits with three (03) options for follow-on procurements of twelve (12) additional kits per option. This notice of intent is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation of offers. This synopsis is provided for information purposes only. A determination not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the United States Government.
