- Requisition Number: FDA1046828 The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is seeking quotes for the following items to be awarded on a purchase order: 001: Stage I Immunization (up to 3 clones) 002: Stage II Fusion Select 003: Stage III 1st Cloning, Final cloning selection frozen stock and ascites Specifications: 1. Monoclonal antibodies are requested from 5 different antigens. 2. Each of the 5 antigens will be used to immunize groups of 10 mice using the appropriate adjuvant. 3. Screen all mice for antibody production after first booster immunization 4. Following final boost, spleens harvested and spleen cells fused with myeloma line. 5. 6-10 96 well plates will be seeded with the fusion products 6. Fusion lines screened by ELISA and positive supernatants returned to FDA lab for viral neutralization assays performed here. 7. 3-5 selected positive lines cloned and expanded with backup cells frozen. 8. Supernatants from expanded lines saved, cells frozen and ascites produced. This is a REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. FDA intends to solicit this requirement as a total small business set-aside requirement. All responsible sources must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry System (CCR) at www.ccr.gov to be considered. FDA intends to make an award soon after the response date of this notice and all bids must be submitted via email and be received by 10:00 AM (1000) EST on 15 August 2008 to the attention of David Kordel, david.kordel@fda.hhs.gov. Evaluation/Award will be based on the technically acceptable quote that offers the best value to the Government. The award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
