- Description
- 65th Contracting Squadron, Lajes Field, Azores will issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Portuguese Civilian Employee Insurance Coverage. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supplies and management to provide insurance coverage required by Portuguese law. Total liability for job related injuries and accidents will be transferred from the United States Government to the contractor for all Portuguese civilian employees of the United States employed by Lajes Field, Terceira, Azores. This solicitation is "Unrestricted". The government intends to evaluate award on Lowest Price Technically acceptable and award a Firm-fixed price contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 524114 and the small business size standard is 100 employees. The entire solicitation FA4486-08-R-0011 will be made available on the Government Point of Entry (GPE), Fedbizops website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ on or about 1 August 2008. Telephone and fax requests will not be honored. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All prospective offerors interested in submitting a quote must have a commercial and government entity code (www.ccr.gov ) Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Facsimile qutoes will be accepted.
