- Description
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announces its intention to negotiate a Performance Based Firm-Fixed type contract. The purpose of this contract is to acquire data entry services for medical record abstraction that results in a high quality data set ready for analysis. Information from data entry conducted by the Contractor shall be used with other information to produce nationally representative data on people living with HIV/AIDS that are receiving care in the United States. The data from MMP will provide an opportunity for policy decisions, resource allocation, and evaluation of prevention and treatment initiatives at the local and national levels to be based on population-based data. The CDC anticipates a period of performance of 12 months. This is not a Request for Proposal. The intention of this notice is to notify potential offerors that Solicitation No. 2008-N-10711 will be available for download on the Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov on or before August 5, 2008. In accordance with FAR 5.203, this requirement is considered a commercial aquisition, and may have a shorter period for issuance of the solicitation. This requirement is open to Full and Open Competition. Additionally, all amendments and responses to questions will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. All questions must be submitted in writing to Sharon Cunningham at cux0@cdc.gov. All responsible sources must be registered in the Central Contracting Registration (CCR) website at www.ccr.gov. No telephone calls will be accepted. It is the sole responsibility of the offeror to continually view the website for any amendments made to this notice.
