- The United States Coast Guard, Maintenance & Logistics Command, Atlantic intends to issue a commercial Request for Quote (RFQ) HSCG80-08-Q-3FAW37 for emergency dockside repair services to resurface the flight deck surfaces on board the USCGC DECISIVE (WMEC-629), a 210 Foot B Class Medium Endurance Cutter. The homeport of the cutter is located in Pascagoula, MS. The performance period is 22 calendar days and is expected to begin on or about 11 August 2008. The acquisition is 100% Set-A-Side for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336611 and the small business size standard is 1,000 employees. The Coast Guard intends to conduct this procurement in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The Government will issued a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation and will be most advantageous to the Government considering price and past performance. The RFQ will be issued electronically via the Federal Business Opportunities (FEBIZOPPS) web page at http://www.fbo.gov/ on or about 1 August 2008 with quotes due NLT 6 August 2008 at 2:00 PM EST.
