Description
Synopsis: Sources Sought Notice only. This is not a request for quotes or proposals. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The Bronx VAMC is currently seeking Service-Disable Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) sources to provide a comprehensive and complete Full Service Sharps/Toxic Waste Removal Program for the VA New York Harbor Healthcare System (VANYHHS) facilities which include (Manhattan VA, Brooklyn VA, St. Albans VA, VA Community Bases Clinic located at Staten Island & VA Community Based Clinic located at Brooklyn) to include all Labor, Material, Transportation and Disposal Costs. Services to be provided at a minimum, of two (2) days per week, unless otherwise specified. The vendor shall provide containers and materials incidental to the collection and disposal of medical and toxic waste from the schedule and designated pickup points. The contractor shall be responsible to maintain/repair the containers as needed. The vendor shall have all the certifications, licenses and permits required to provide the service that meet all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Vendor shall provide the necessary forms required by the VA for all toxic waste removed from each site. The NAICS code is 562112 and the small business size standard is $11.5 million.
