Description: The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue an order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-07-G-0008 to the Bell-Boeing Joint Project Office, 401 Tiltrotor Drive, Amarillo, TX 79111 for the retrofit of the Active Vibration Suppression System (AVSS) mounting plate and clevis fitting into the V-22 aircraft. This requirement will be negotiated on a sole-source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. GENERAL INFORMATION: Bell-Boeing is the sole designer, developer, and producer of the V-22 Tilt-Rotor Aircraft and is the only source that possesses the proprietary technical data, experience, equipment and special skills to furnish the supplies and services within the required timeframe. Subcontracting opportunities may be available and should be sought with Bell-Boeing at the following address 401 Tiltrotor Drive, Amarillo, TX 79111. See government-wide numbered note 22.
