Description

Solicitation Number, SPM4A6-08-Q-8337, 0018099524, NSN: 9150-01-542-9479, Lubricating Oil, Engine. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item in accordance with FAR Part 12. This is solicited as unrestricted using the procedures of full and open competition. This will result in a Firm Fixed Priced Contract under the provisions of FAR 13.5. The purchase request quantity is 5303 Each. There will be an option for additional quantities. QPL applies. Unit of issue is Each, each is a 25 Liter Pail. This is a Critical Application Item (CAI). This is not a Critical Safety Item (CSI) per SAP interrogation July 17, 2008. See PID Data for tech data package (TDP) availability information. If table A0648 is cited, the offeror is required to provide complete data package including data for the approved and alternate part for evaluation. The material is in accordance with Type Number: M2104-25L-15W40. MSDS AND OSHA hazardous Warning Label are required. The solicitation does not contain progress payments. This is being solicited with FOB at Origin. The Inspection and Acceptance is at Origin. DPMS applies. ABVS applies. Subcontracting plan is not required. Cost & Pricing data is not required as this is a commercial item. The required delivery is 84 days ARO. PR is needed to meet current demands. There is no LTC for NSN, this is a one time buy until Privatization takes ownership. The solicitation issue date is July 31, 2008. The closing date is August 15, 2008.
