- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Investigation intends to negotiate on a sole source basis for commercial items in accordance with the format as described in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This Notice is issued under Request for Quotation (RFQ) 1072556, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The solicitation and document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis with Honeywell, 30 Cold Spring Road, Rockey Hill CT, for the maintenance and repair of an existing Honeywell Energy Management and Fire Alarm System. The Energy Management System provides automation through software and direct digital central for the monitoring and control of the facility environmental systems. Emergency backup must be available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Any necessary spare parts or supplies must be available immediately or stored on site. The equipment has a software licensing for the Honeywell system which is proprietary to Honeywell. The period of performance is not to exceed 18 months.
