- THIS PROJECT WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR REVIEWING AND PRINTING IN APPROXIMATELY 15 DAYS. The project includes remediation, complete removal and disposal, of lead-based paint from the exterior of the Redfish Lake Guard Station historic building on the Sawtooth National Recreation Area on the Sawtooth National Forest, as well as the repair of the exterior siding and painting of the building. Project includes the removal of the lead based painted wood shingles and the application of ice dam membrane (Government-furnished) and cedar sawn wood shingles (Government-furnished) to the roof. The estimated roof square footage is 800 square feet. Roofing includes the installation of necessary new roof sheathing, installation of chimney and vent flashing, and installation of cedar ridge unit. This project entails a complete removal of lead-based paint for lead abatement. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, supplies and shall perform all work required to complete the project as described in the specifications. This site is located approximately 6 miles south of Stanley, ID. The site is reached by traveling south from Stanley for approximately 4 miles on State Highway 75 and then traveling along Forest Service Road #70214 and #70213 to Redfish Lake Lodge. The site is accessed by an administrative road from the lodge. The site is located in Section 3 of T9N, R13E, B.M. Elevation: Approximately 6,564 feet above sea level. NAICS: 238320. Size: $13.0 million. Estimated Start Date is 9/08/08 with 45 calendar days for completion. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. This proposed procurement is under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, which is not a small business set aside.
