- This synopsis is for construction of an Uninterrupted Power Supply for Facility 1200 at Beale AFB, California. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, incidental works, and professional design as necessary to construct an Uninterruptible Power Supply, UPS to support facility 1200 for Global Hawk Operations. The Contractor shall perform all professional engineering and construction services required for and related to the preparation, coordination and completion of all work described within this scope of work. This scope of work includes the preparation of design/repair documents to include drawings, specifications, testing and certification of documents, and warranties and guarantees, as required by the Contracting Officer. The Contractor shall be responsible for any site verification required to propose a firm-fixed price on this requirement. A site visit will be scheduled approximately 10 days from the solicitation issue date. This is a HUBZone restricted acquisition. Estimated magnitude for this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.00. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237130. The small business size standard for this contract is $31 Million. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration(CCR) database and complete an Online Representations and Certifications Application prior to award of a government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in CCR and complete the online representations and certification will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number, recommend registering immediately to be eligible for award. The solicitation will be available on or about 18 August 2008. The solicitation will be available ONLY via the Internet at the following address: http://www.fbo.gov/. When the solicitation is posted, it can be viewed by going to the FedBizOpps web site. No hard copies of specifications or drawings will be provided.
