- THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICATION for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number M6700108Q0181 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26 and DFARS change notice July 7, 2008. Pursuant to FAR 19.502-2(b), the Contracting Officer has made a written determination to dissolve small business set aside. This solicitation is issued as an unrestricted requirement. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 532111. Rental period/period of performance is from 6 August 2008 thru 3 October 2008 (58 days). Line Item# 0001: Quantity: 50, Unit of Issue: EA, 12-PASSENGER VANS. Line Item# 0002: Quantity: 6, Unit of Issue: EA, Sedans. Quotes other than FOB destination will be rejected. If vendor is located outside the Jacksonville/Swansboro, NC locale, the vehicles are to be delivered to MCB Camp Lejeune, NC. The basis for award will be best value tradeoff with the following criteria: delivery and price. The following factors shall be used to evaluate quotes: delivery (the required delivery date is 6 August 2008) and price (contractor shall quote FOB Destination). The government reserves the right not to check past performance if the quoter is a known source of supply by this buying office. Offerors are to submit one (1) relevant past performance references with their quote.
