Description
GROUND LEASE WANTED BY THE U.S. GOVERNMENT Contracting Office Address: General Services Administration, Public Buildings Service (PBS), Real Estate Division (9PE), 450 Golden Gate Avenue, 3rd Floor East, San Francisco, CA, 94102 REQUIREMENT: Land: The General Services Administration, on behalf of the Food And Drug Administration, desires to lease approximately 3,600 square feet to 1.5 acres of land. The dimensions of the site must be at least 60 feet by 60 ft. In addition, a paved and level area is preferred. The space must be contiguous. The site must be located within the limits of Monterey County, within the delineated are of: North: Intersection of Route 25 and Shore Road (Hollister), South Route 101 to Riverside Road to Main Street to the Pacific Ocean. East: Intersection of Route 25 and Shore Road to Fairview Road to Airline Highway to Union Road to Route156 to Salinas Road to Old Stage Road to Route 101 to the intersection of Gloria Road and Route 101. West: Pacific Ocean South: From intersection of Route 101 and Gloria Road (South Gonzales) to St. Alta Street to Gonzales River. Utilities: Ability to bring electrical hookups to the site or existing onsite is optional. Water connection to units and sewage disposal are optional. Land-line telephone connection is required. Not critical but preferred is sanitary sewer and waste handling capabilities for refuse, grey water, and hazardous wastes. Access: Monday- Friday (7AM-6PM). Ability to deploy within 7 days notice in case of emergency outbreak where public health is at risk. Otherwise, 45 days notice of pre-planned deployments. Security: A security fence around the perimeter of the property or the ability to erect one is required. LEASE TERM: 6 years, 3 years firm. The Government shall have the right to terminate the lease, entirely or in part, after the firm term on 60 days written notice to the Lessor. OCCUPANCY: Occupancy is required no later than November 17, 2008 STANDARD CONDITIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: The leased space shall be accessible to workers with disabilities in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility guidelines and the Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards. Wherever standards conflict, the more stringent shall apply. The space shall be free of other hazardous materials according to applicable Federal, State, and local environmental regulations. Additionally, the space must be altered to meet the Government’s requirements. Expressions of interest should be submitted to the following person and address in writing or via e-mai, and should provide all of the following information: 1. Address of site. 2. Availability of utilities on or near to the site. 2. Rentable and usable square feet offered. 3. Method of measurement used to determine rentable square footage. Responses must be received not later than 4:00 p.m., Friday, August 15, 2008.
