- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ)Q1586080016. FAR Clauses and provisions enclosed within this RFQ are those in effect throught FAC2005-27 and are available in full text through internet access at http//www.arnet.gov/far. The National Park Service encourages the participation of small, disadvantaged and women owned business enterprises. The NAICS code is 423820 and the Small Business Standard size is 500 employees. QUOTES ARE DUE for this combined synopsis/solicitation on August 18, 2008 at 4:30pm Mountain Daylight time and shall be delivered by the specified time to Grand Teton National Park, Moose Warehouse, Moose, WY 83012 ATTN: Contracting Office. Faxed quotes are preferred with all required documentation, no oral quotations will be accepted. Quoters must furnish the company name, DUNS number, address, phone and fax number, email address if available, and official point of contact. All Quotes must be signed by authorized company official and faxed to 307-739-3359 or e-mailed to thayne_o'brien@nps.gov. All questions regarding this solicitation should be faxed or emailed to thayne_o'brien@nps.gov. ITEM FOR WHICH SOLICITATION IS ISSUED: USED FARM TRACTOR in good condition. "Good" condition means that the equipment is free of any major defects. It has a clean title history, the paint, body and interior have only minor blemishes, and there are not major mechanical problems. There should be little or no rust. The tires match, and have substantial tread wear left. Tractor must have less than 8500 hours and be between 5 and 20 years old. Must be rated at 80-100hp. Must be equipped with a roll-over protective system (ROPS) and a loader that can reach 162" when bale pad is attached level (Helscher Model 100 Bale Forks-10 bale pack). Must have live PTO, 3 point hitch and Mechanical Front Wheel Drive (MFWD). Unit is to be delivered to Grant_Kohrs Ranch, 239 Cattle Drive, Deer Lodge, MT 59722. Quotes will only be accepted from firms within 400 miles of Deer Lodge, MT. Firms may submit more than one item for consideration. At least two digital photos should be submitted with Quote. The NPS will inspect items prior to award. The award will be based on a combination of price, age and condition of the unit proposed, and past performance of the firm.
