- This announcement is notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order to Horseshoe Bay Resort Marriott, 200 Circle North, PO Box 4650, Horseshoe Bay, Texas 78657. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The requirement is for 1st Air Cavalry Brigade Leadership Off-Site Seminar for 3 days (05-07 Sep 08) for which the establishment will be providing: a. 45 Rooms - double occupancy bed rooms for 2 nights b. Conference room set up for 90 people from 7PM - 10 PM on 5 Sep 08. Cater dinner from 7PM-10 PM for 90 people. c. Conference room set up for 90 people from 9AM - 1:30 PM on 6 Sep 08. Cater Lunch from 11:30AM to 1:30PM for 90 people. d. Two conference room will be set up for 45 people from 1:30PM - 3:30 PM on 6 Sep 08. e. Dining room will be set up for 90 people on 6 Sep 08 from 7 - 10PM. f. Conference room will be set up for 90 people from 9 -11AM on 7 Sep 08. Cater meal from 9 -11AM for 90 people. All conference room to include dinning room will be fully equipped with a proxima, wireless microphone, speakers, projection screen, and podium. Response date is 11 Aug 08 at 12:00 PM. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotes received by the closing date and time will be considered for future requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
