- Description
- The United States Coast Guard, Maintenance and Logistic Command, Pacific, Alameda, CA, proposes to contract the planned dockside repairs of USCGC GEORGE COBB (WLM-564), a 175’ buoy tender, home moorage in San Pedro, CA. All work shall be at the cutter’s home moorage during the period of 06 January 2009 through 14 February 2009. Work items include and are not limited to: Gantt bar chart; Main Diesel Engine Exhaust Stack Commercial Clean; Ship Service Diesel Generator Exhaust Stack Commercial Clean; Vent Ducts (engine & Motor Room, All) Commercial Clean; Vent Ducts (Galley & Pantry, All) Commercial Clean; Vent Ducts (Laundry Exhaust) Commercial Clean; Vane Axial Fan Overhaul; Shower Deck Drain Replacement; Potable Water Pneumatic Tank Relief Valves Renew; Potable Water Pneumatic Tanks, Clean, Inspect and Hydro; Compressed Air Receivers (All) Clean, Inspect and Hydro; Hydraulic Chain Inhaul Winch Repair, Modify and Test; Vacuum Sewage Collection Tank Inspection and Maintenance; Sewage Piping Clean and Inspect; Deck Grating and Deck Drain Installation; Straight Line Window Wiper Installation; Temporary Services, Dockside, Home Pier. On or about 19 August 2008, an Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be available electronically at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This is a Total Small Business set-aside procurement. Only certified 100% small business contractors may submit a bid. The NAICS code assigned to this procurement will be 336611 with a size standard of less than 1,000 employees.
