- FULL and OPEN SOLICITATION Notice: FA8601-08-R-0049 (formerly IFB FA8601-08-B-0003) Demolition of Facility 20126. The purpose of this notice is to notify all business firms that possess capability and experience to accomplish the work described below to be performed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), OH. SCOPE OF WORK: Complete demolition of a 2-story, brick exterior building with a total of 3,234 square meters (34,827 gsf). The basement and first floor totaled are 16,708 gsf. The second floor is 16,718 square feet. The building and adjacent sitework were originally constructed in 1944 at 2644 Skyline Drive, Areaa B, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), OH. The project also includes complete removal and demolition of both facility parking lots (2,822 square yards and 4,496 square yards) to include removal of sidewalks, curbs and gutters, and necessary landscaping to include grading and seeding. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238910. The solicitation/RFP is issued electronically. It is posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website at: http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ and the Wright-Patterson AFB Pre-Award Information Exchange System (PIXS) website at: http://www/pixs/wpafb.af.mil/. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE ISSUED FOR ANY REASON. The Department of Defense (DoD) has determined the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be the Single DoD registration for contractors who conduct business or who are interested in conducting business with the Department. Defense procurement and finance policies require contractors to be registered by for consideration in future solicitations, awards, and payment. DoD contracting officers worldwide will use CCR to identify sources and financial officers will use it to make payments.
