- Description
- Objective: To provide position specific training to New Jersey State / Regional, county and local jurisdictions using qualified training vendors, leading to a certified Level III State, Incident Support Team. The courses to be offered will follow a defined training track using FEMA/DHS guidelines approved by the State Training Officer. Specifically, the courses included in this project will lead to qualified Planning Section Chiefs, Operations Section Chiefs, Logistics Section Chief and Section Chiefs for Finance and Administration. The proposed course offerings include: One four day course:Estimated # of Attendees 25. Resource Unit Leader S-348 & Situation Unit LeaderS-346. One four day course:Estimated # of Attendees 25. Facilities Unit Leader S-354, Ground Support Unit Leader S-355, Supply Unit Leader S-356 and Communications Unit Leader S-358. One four day course: Estimated # of Attendees 25. Safety Officer S-403. Students will be selected in close coordination between County OEM Coordinators, State/Regional OEM Coordinators, and the Office of the State Training Officer. Prerequisite training standards will be enforced. A training database will be maintained by the office of the State Training Officer on behalf of NJOEM. Provide past performance for subject courses. Award selection will be based on Past Performance and Best Value for the Government.
