Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, U. S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, Springfield, Missouri, intends to award on a sole source base under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1 with Parata Systems, LLC, 2600 Meridian Parkway, Suite 100, Durham, NC 27713 for PacMed paper and printer ribbon (specific size 75mm x 70 m) supplies to be utilized and compatible with the PacMed 400 w/PacMed server and software. This unit dose system was procured on a multi-year equipment lease agreement including above consumabel supplies which are required for operation of equipment. Estimated quantites are as follows: PSL7001, Amber colored PacMed paper, 6 rolls per case - 72 cases/year and PSL7000 PacMed print ribbon, 12 rolls per case - 36 cases per year. The procurement will be for a firm-fixed priced purchase order for the anticipated period 10/1/08 through 9/30/09. Set-aside 100% for small business. Any firm who believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer by August 15, 2008, 2:00 p.m. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed and must show competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses received will be evaluated, however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source procurement to Parata Systems, LLC. All vendors are hereby notified if your response is not received by the date and time specified in this notice, it will not be considered. Faith-Based and Community -Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
