- 42 Inch Wide Format Image Scanner Scanner requirements: Be able to scan 42 inch wide media in one pass Color 24-bit and 8-bit Monochrome capability True Optical of 1200dpi (CCD's Technology): Import requirement for insuring clear crisp raster lines are produced. 5x digital camera, each unit self contained. 5x optics micro lens with integral infra red filter T5 Twin Fluorescent tub lighting or better. Feeders which can feed onion skin paper and media up to.8 inches thick. Scanning speeds of 3 inches per second @200dpi Scan Accuracy: +/-0.1% +/-1 pixel 2 year On Site Warranty (minimum), includes: Phone Tech Help, Travel, Service, and Major Parts (not consumables) Software Include: Scanworks software upgrade to insure scanning clarity and length requirements are met. Other software for indexing of captured data, VB-Index and ImageFlow software. Scanner must be capable of capturing data from positive and negative films, maps and old yellowed out engineering drafts with detailed layered line work (contours).
