- The above referenced request for quotation is hereby amended to respond to technical questions. The following responses were provided to technical questions submitted: QUESTION: Referring to Part D. "Parts coverage included" of the solicitation, does this include replacement batteries? If so, what is the quantity and type of battery installed in the system? ANSWER: To the best of our knowledge, the batteries installed are sealed VRLA batteries labeled UPS12-140FR, and there are 40 of them. Full replacement is not required, only 10% of the battery chain.
