- MANAGED CARE SERVICES, SOL N/A, The Government intends to negotiate a 2 year extension comprising of one (1) each one-year option period and two (2) six-month option periods under an existing Contract for Health Care services in the TRICARE South Region. The periods of performance for this extension are as follows: Option Period 6, April 1, 2009 through March 31, 2010; Option Period 7 - April 1, 2010 through September 30, 2010; Option Period 8 - October 1, 2010 through March 31, 2011. These Health Care services include all functions needed to provide comprehensive managed care including development of provider networks, claims processing, financing and integration into the military's direct care system to serve all beneficiaries in the South Region. The South Region includes the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, South Carolina, Tennessee (excluding the zip codes in the Fort Campbell, Kentucky catchment area), Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and major portions of Texas. The existing contract, MDA906-03-C-0010 is with Humana Military Health Services located at 500 West Main Street, Louisville, KY 40201-7462.
