- The Solicitation issued pursuant to this synopsis will be issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). The anticipated award will be a Firm-Fixed Price Contract, the award to be based on Best Value to the Government. The evaluation factors will be whether the proposed units meet the size restrictions and performance characteristics given and Price. The solicitation will incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-26. This acquisition is unrestricted as to size of business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 335311, the small business size standard for which is 750 personnel. REQUIREMENT DESCRIPTION: This acquisition is for 3 ea. high voltage regulators and associated controllers to replace units currently installed at one of Holloman AFB's substations. These replacement regulators and controllers are to be quoted FOB Destination, Holloman AFB, NM 88330 IMPORTANT NOTICES: RFQ submission must be in accordance with solicitation. All Amendments, if applicable, must be acknowledged. All offerors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (Ref. DFARS 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration) and the Online Representations and Certifications (www.orca.gov) websites in order to receive award consideration. Questions concerning this notice should be submitted to the Points of Contact as indicated in this announcement. OTHER DETAILS: The solicitation will be posted on or before 7 Aug 08 and MUST be downloaded from Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) at www.fbo.gov. DO NOT REQUEST VIA MAIL OR FAX.
