Description
The Contractor shall design and renovate the existing servey and eatery of Bldg. 549 at the NCI-Frederick Cafeteria. The successful offeror will be responsible for all aspects of the design and construction, including the procurement, fabrication, installation and start-up services of the foodservice equipment. To facilitate the contractor's purchase and fabrication of the foodservice equipment, an allowance will be held by SAIC-F. The contractor will be responsible for bidding the foodservice equipment and providing the bid results to SAIC-F for validation of the allowance prior to awarding the equipment. This contract is a fixed price contract The performance period is: Award: No Later than September 25, 2008 Substantial Completion: January 30, 2009 Project Acceptance: February 6, 2009 Prospective contractors may review the drawings referenced in Section J, Attachment A, Building 549 Cafeteria Renovation Specification PS-01000, at the address listed in Box 8 in the solicitation or may purchase the drawings through Engineering Graphics, Inc. Point of Contact: Mike Bradburd at their Frederick, MD office at (301) 668-8944 to purchase the drawings and arrange for pick-up of the drawings at either their Frederick, MD or Gaithersburg, MD office. Cost: The seventeen (17) sheet set of the concept drawings can be purchased for approximately $30.00. Individual sheets of the original cafeteria construction drawings (13) can also be purchased for under $2.00 per sheet. Electronic.pdf files of Specification PS-01000 with all attachments, except the original cafeteria constructin drawings, are electronically attached to the solicitation notice. The referenced specifications are also attached to the solicitation notice.
