- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport intends to place a new procurement modification under Contract N66604-07-D-3537 with Ultra Electronics-Ocean Systems, Inc. This requirement is for an estimated quantity of 45 additional restorations of DT-699 High Frequency Sail Array (HFSA) modules. The contract ceiling was prematurely reached due to an increase in failed modules. Continuity of DT-699 HFSA restorations is necessary to ensure submarine deployment schedules are not delayed. A competitive ID/IQ contract for future restorations will be processed in the near future. Our department no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Instead, they may be accessed at our web site http://www.npt.nuwc.navy.mil/contract/. We also provide electronic access in our Bid Room.
