Description
QUESTION 1. Is there a need for 220 to 110 conversions per Sgt. Dehart. Please clarify power requirements for each location. Applies to CLIN 001 or CLIN 002 or both? ANSWER: NO ADDITIONAL ELECTRICAL OTHER THAN THAT IN THE POSTED PWSs. QUESTION 2. Hand pump or hydraulic lift for the adjustment of the stands. (CLIN 001 or CLIN 002 or both). Answer: Incorporation of a hand pump adjustment system would be sufficient yet minimize cost. System should be designed with equipment easily procurable via local vendors (i.e. Grainger Corp). QUESTION 3. Should the stairs adjust to any height or adjust to a specific height (i.e. should they be translating stairs?) Applies to CLIN 001 or CLIN 002 or both? ANSWER: It is acceptable for the stairs to automatically adjust in height as the height of the stand is either increased or decreased. Maximum step height should be in accordance with acceptable building code standards. Depth of stairs must be sufficient to minimize tripping or unsure footing. QUESTION 4. Is there a need for an additional modular platform that could stand alone or adapt to the wing stand to provide coverage along the side of the aircraft fwd of the intake towards the canopy. Is this a requirement? Should it be considered for this requirement? Applies to CLIN 001 or CLIN 002 or both? ANSWER: NO ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS ARE ADDED OUTSIDE THE POSTED PWSs. QUESTION 5. Should the power cord be removable from the reel? Please clarify (CLIN 001 only). ANSWER: NO, however the cord must have a maximum range of 50 feet. System should be designed with equipment easily procurable via local vendors (i.e. Grainger Corp).
