- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercialitems/services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice, and using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is N65538-08-Q-0062, and the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26. The associated NAICS code is 333415. This requirement is for the support of HVAC air handlers design shall prevent sensor saturation/overload due to air flow. LINE ITEM 0001 is as follows: QUANTITY: 180 EACH; DESCRIPTION: Piezoelectric accelerometer - See attached technical specification; LINE ITEM 0002 IS AS FOLLOWS: QUANTITY 180 EACH; DESCRIPTION: Shielded cable, 2 cond., Teflon jacket, 2 pin(F) mating connector/pigtail, 20 feet;LINE ITEM 0003 is as follows: QUANTITY: 30 EACH; DESCRIPTION: Switch box, 6 ch., NEMA 4X (IP66) enclosure, 1 terminal strip in/1 BNC out. The provision FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Contractors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Contractor will include a completed copy of the provision FAR 52.212-3, Contractors Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its quote. Clauses FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items; FAR 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer; Central Contractor Registration, DFARS 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration; FAR 52-217-5 Evaluation of Options (not applicable if no options are stated above); apply to this solicitation. Quotes are due on 14 August 2008, by 4:00 PM EST, to the Naval Sea Logistics Center, 5450 Carlisle Pike, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055, by 4:00pm, Eastern Standard Time.
