- The Naval Air Systems Comand Intends to award a Sole Source Delivery Order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-07-G-0001 to Rolls Royce PLC, UK, for Logistics Support Services for FY09 for the Pegasus (AV-8) engine (both for F402-RR-408A/B for the Joint Program Office, consisting of the United States Marine Corps (USMC), Spanish Navy and Italian Navy. The requirement consists of analyical determination of maintenance requirement and associated support resources consistent with hardware design, government and contractor coordination of spares requirements to ensure material availability and adequate focus on degraders and use of existing data to achieve an effective, affordable and supportable logistics program for the F402 engine.
