Description
This is a combined synopsis / solicitation for one (1) hydra II 96 channel microdispensor base unit, 0.1-100ul duraflex syringes, one (1) three position XY stage for hydra II, and one (1) wash station for hydra XY unit. These are replacement liquid handling robot for our DNA laboratory. Replacement unit must have the following capabilities. 1) Fully automated and capable of accurately dispensing 0.1 to 100 microliters of solution with minimal human interaction. 2) Able to handle liquids common to DNA analysis techniques, including but not limited to water, ethanol, bleach, and extraction buffers. 3) Equipped with flexible syringe based pipettes that can be sanitized, washed and re-used to reduce and or eliminate plastic tip waste. The wash system must be automated to insure cleanliness as well as to reduce labor costs. 4) Able to utilize both 96 and 384 well reaction plates compatible with: ABI 3100 genetic analyzers, MJ Technologies thermocyclers and Qiagen DNEasy extraction kits. 5) Able to handle multiple (at least three) plates simultaneously in order to eliminate both human based errors as well as reduce labor costs. The plate stations are in addition to a dedicated wash station. Interested parties must respond to this announcement with your price posal within fifteen (15) calendar days of its publication.
