Description
(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation/synopsis reference number is F1M2X18185A001 and is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26. (iv) This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The associated NAICS code is 334119 with a 1000 employee size standard. (v) Contractors shall submit a quote to include all applicable charges for the purchase, installation, and training for Video Teleconferencing Equipment. Please note this system must be able to tie into existing system which includes a Sound system - Yamaha R-V702 and Projector - Infocus LP 850. The following features are required: Up to a 6.0Mbps multisite bandwidth Wide-angle lens with zoom; 70-90 degree pan Voice activated camera positioning system Picture in Picture video ISDN connection, BRI line Table top touch panel Point to Point and multipoint calls Installation and Training All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered using the attached Request For Quotation form. Brand name or equal items are accepted. There will be a site visit held on August 13, 2008 at 0900hrs. Please contact Joshua Blow at 843-963-3569 NLT August 8, 2008 with the names of all who plan to attend. You must have a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and vehicle registration to get on base. August 15, 2008 at 12:000 pm is the deadline for questions pertaining to the details of this solicitation after which no more questions will be answered. (vi) Delivery and acceptance instructions are FOB destination. (vii) The following clauses and provisions are incorporated and will remain in full force in any resultant award: (full text of clauses and provisions may be accessed electronically at this website: http://farsite.hill.af.mil) FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial (viii); FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items Evaluation. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: 1.Technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement. 2. Price- The Government will evaluate offers for award purposes or the total price for the requirement. Technical and price factors, when combined, are equal. (ix) Contractors shall include a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3, Offerors Representation and Certifications Commercial Item or complete electronic annual representations and certifications at http//orca.bpn.gov.
