Description

The Southeast Veterans Healthcare Systems is interested in leasing land which can as a minimum support 30 parking spaces, approximately to 1 acre, beginning October 1, 2008.The contractor shall provide a plot of land within a 1500 foot walking distance from the rear entrance of the BROPC Building located at 7968 Essen Park Ave. The area should be accessible from Essen Park Ave. and not require the crossing of Essen Lane due to the heavy volume of traffic and lack of pedestrian crossings. The exact boundary of the land under consideration is on the east side of Essen Lane from Interstate 10 to Margaret Anne Avenue. The land provided by the contractor must be accessible between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 12:00 a.m. (midnight) Monday through Friday, and from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The government shall be responsible for the administration, improvement, maintenance, upkeep and operation of the land. The proposed lease will be for a five year period with 5-one year renewal options. Properties closest to the BROPC will be given highest consideration. Interested parties shall provide a map clearly indicating the location of the land. Respondents are advised that the VA assumes no responsibility to award a lease based upon response to this advertisement.
