- Description
- Provide personnel, equipment, containers, tools, materials management and associated items and services to remove and dispose of solid waste from designated pick up locations on and around the Montgomery and Tuskegee VA Medical Centers campuses in Alabama. Transportation of waste to incineration facility will be in accordance with all Federal, State, and local laws and regulations. This solicitation is issued as a commercial item in accordance with FAR Part 12 and shall be evaluated in accordance with FAR Part 13. The RFP will be advertised on or about August 8, 2008 as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set-a-side; with a NAICS Code of 562111 with the size standard of $11.5 M. If no qualified responses are received the solicitation will be re-issued to full open competition. This will be a base year with four (4) option year procurement. The range of this solicitation is between $50,000 and $100,000.00 for the base year. Interested Offerors may submit an electronic copy of their offer by e-mailing calvin.thomas@va.gov Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining all amendments. There will be one site visit; date and time will be inside the solicitation.
