Description
***ESTIMATED ISSUE DATE Electronically in Federal Business Opportunities August 21, 2008. *** Project consists of surveying and construction staking, removal and/or placement of an 18-inch and 36-inch pipe (dewatering required), fill and slope repair, excavation, borrow, furnishing and placement of aggregate and riprap placement. Erosion & pollution control, temporary traffic control and mobilization of all necessary equipment and personnel are included. Project is on the Willamette National Forest, Middle Fork Ranger District, Lane County, Oregon. The project can be located as follows: From Oakridge city center travel east on Hwy. 58 2.46 miles, turn right onto Road 23. Travel 0.54 miles, turn right onto Forest Service Road 21. Travel 10.68 miles on Road 21 to Road 2117 and turn right. Proceed 10.60 miles on Road 2117 to project site. The site can be accessed by an alternate route as follows: From Oakridge city center travel east on Hwy. 58 2.46 miles, turn right onto Road 23. Travel 0.54 miles, turn right onto Forest Service Road 21. Proceed 6.11 miles to Road 2110, turn right. Travel the full length of Road 2110, 10.04 miles, to Road 5850 and turn left. Travel on 5850 2.05 miles to the junction of Road 2117, turn left. Proceed on Road 2117 0.75 miles to slide area (removal of this material is included in the contract). The upper end of the project is 0.34 miles beyond this point. Government’s estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000. This contract is NOT set-aside for small business pursuant to Public Law 100-656, Small Business Competitive Demonstration Act. Contract performance time is 77 calendar days.
