Description

The U.S. Geological Survey intends to make a non-competitive award to University of Vermont Geology Department in Burlington, VT for Unsolicited Proposal: Potomac River Basin Erosion to be delivered to USGS,12201 Sunrise Valley Dr., Reston, VA by 06/30/2010. This requirement does not require any option years. University of Vermont Geology Department is the only known source for this requirement because no other institution has the unique capabilities of the University of Vermont in application of 10Be to measurement of erosion rates. In accordance with FAR 5.207, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency, however, THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). FAX response to 703.648.7367 or email to: abenton@usgs.gov. The NAICS code is 611310. The anticipated award date of the contract is 08/11/2008. A vendor must be registered at http://www.ccr.gov to be awarded the contract. See Numbered Note 1.
